1. What brand and style are your favorite running shoes?

2. Why are they your favorite?

I have an old ACL injury, also a torn meniscus..neither of these were ever fixed with surgery {though they needed to be} because they didn't do surgery like that if you weren't done growing back in the day...well it turns out I was done growing and they should have done the flipping surgery! I also have a sciatic nerve issue, AND shin splints due to those injuries. I have gone through a TON of running shoes, the a sic kanyo is the ONLY one that stopped my shin splints.


3. Have you had any bad experiences with other brands? Which ones do you avoid?

I've always loved nike, I have narrow heels and they are prefect. BUT my shins are a hellish burning fire when I run in them. The Nike Free Waffle are my favorite comfort wise, but they are not for running that's for sure!

4. Do you have more than one pair of running shoes for different types of workouts?

Yes!
I wear my nike free waffles, sambas, or other flatter shoes for weight training & body pump.

For running, my ascis.

For turbofire...I am barefoot.


5. Have you ever been fit for a shoe by a specialist? Did you find this helpful?

Yes, that's how I decided to buy the Asics. They were a perfect fit, and stopped my shin splints, so I would say VERY helpful!
